Focus and Scope

Siddhayatra publishes papers devoted to a broad scope in archaeological research comprises quaternary and prehistory, classical archaeology, colonial archaeology, maritime archaeology, epigraphy, ethnoarchaeology, paleoanthropology, zooarchaeology, geoarchaeology and other applied science related with human past.

We also encourage researchers, professors and students to share their original idea concerning cultural resource management and development. Our aim is to disseminate the knowledge related with current research in archaeological research and it's development strategy.

Peer Review Process

SIDDHAYATRA is a peer-reviewed journal managed by Editorial Boards of Archaeological Service Office for South Sumatera (Ministry of Education and Culture). This journal employs double blind review, where the reviewer remains anonymous throughout the process. The review process will depend on the state of submitted manuscript. We exert to manage that the reviewers are matched to the submitted paper according to their expertise. Reviewers advise the editor, who is responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the article.

 

Publication Frequency

Siddhayatra published twice a year in the same volume. Each volume published biannually in different numbers.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
